Year 6 Call of the Wild resilient pupil programme (in school)

Call of the Wild (Development) Ltd are delivering a 5 day Resilient Pupil Programme for Gnoll Primary’s Year 6 pupils from Monday 5th February – Friday 9th February 2024.
The course will be provided free of charge to the school through the Call of the Wild Development Trust.
Please complete and return the medical information form attached ASAP and return to your child’s class teacher.
Activity Kit List – Resilient Pupil Programme
The programme will be a delivered both within the school grounds and using the local area. As part of the course, the children will spend time outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. On Thursday, the children will take part in Gorge Walking (9am-4pm, packed lunch required) please see the separate kit list.
The following is a suggestion of clothing that the children may require each day.
Please Wear
- Outdoor footwear such as trainers, walking boots or wellington boots
- Socks
- Tracksuit bottoms or shorts – NO JEANS
- T-Shirt
- Warm jumper or fleece
- Sun Hat or warm hat and gloves
- Sun cream
Please Carry in a Rucksack
- Trainers
- Socks
- Trousers
- Underwear
- T-Shirt
- Warm Jumper
- Towel
- Waterproof Coat
- Waterproof Trousers
- Water Bottle
- Packed Lunch
- Torch
- Any medication eg. Asthma Inhaler, EpiPen
- Torch for one evening.
Please leave mobile phones etc at home.
Please be aware that any specialist safety equipment will be provided such as helmets.
