Pupil Development Grant (Uniform)
The Minister for Education and Welsh Language recently announced that the Pupil Development Grant Access scheme will be raised for one year only by £100 per learner eligible for free school meals. This applies to all compulsory year groups (R-Y11), Looked After Children and those who are classed as No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).
Funding of up to £225 is available for each eligible learner with the exception of those in Year 7. Eligible learners in Year 7 will be entitled to a maximum of £300.
Pupils who receive Free School Meals due to transitional protection arrangements do not qualify for this funding.
Applications will be available online https://www.npt.gov.uk/1316 0r via paper from 5th July 2022
