Working with Our Classroom Climate

We have been working closely with Our Classroom Climate (OCC) to develop experiments which would allow pupils to understand the need to reduce our carbon footprint. As a result of this, the children have worked closely with Scott (Scientist) to understand the value of absorbing CO2 using Algae and to then separate carbon using a bio reactor. This creates Spirulina which is an antitoxin which then could be used to make super food. or feed for fish.

Please watch the above video to experience the learning that went on by doing this simple but complex experiment.
