PE Day: Monday – we still have P.E. on Monday. We are focusing on creative movement this tern.

Please make sure that you have appropriate kit for the PE days i.e. shorts and t-shirt. We will let you know when trainers are needed.

Our Learning this term is: ‘Called Here, bear and everywhere. We are basing our literacy lessons on “We’re going on a bear hunt” and “Goldilocks and the 3 bears”. We will be writing stories base on these books. We are continuing to learn sounds, blends and tricky words. We will basing our creative development and Knowledge and understanding lessons and on bears.

Reading: Please try and read with your child every day. We aim to read with children as much as possible in school. Once we have read with your child their book bag with the existing or new reading book  will be sent home for you to then practise with them.

Snack money to be paid every Monday  in a clearly named envelope. If these are paid in the office please let us know in order for us to tick your child’s name off on our fruit list in class!

Dinner money to be paid every Monday to the office staff in a clearly named envelope.

Learning logs will be given out on a Friday and returned no later than Wednesday. It will include a Literacy, Numeracy and Topic based task.

Outdoor learning is an essential part of the curriculum. Every Wednesday we will be going outside for outdoor activities, whatever the weather. Please ensure your child at least has a waterproof coat with a hood and wellies. It is advisable to bring waterproof trousers as well. If you child does not bring wellies it will be presumed that they can take part in their school shoes.

Welsh – Over the next few weeks we will be making weather reports in Welsh. This may help you it is sunny – mae hi’n heulog; it is snowing – mae hi’n bwrw eira; it is raining – mae hi’n bwrw glaw. All the children are brilliant at Welsh and they really enjoy speaking it.
