Parent, Teacher Association (PTA)

We are extremely fortunate to have a very active PTA (Parent Teacher Association). These wonderful parents do an amazing job of organising and running events for you and your children. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if you only have a small amount of time available. All families are automatically members of the PTA when your child joins Gnoll Primary School.
The PTA has two aims;
  • To raise money to provide additional equipment to support teaching and learning.
  • To provide all of the Gnoll Primary children and their families with exciting and fun events.

In previous years the PTA have financed iPads for both the Infants and Juniors, bought new home school reading books supported several class visits and the local Pantomime, supported the Y6 residential and paid for keepsake leavers hoodies. Each year they have funded a visit from Santa who brings each class a present before they break up for the holidays.

The PTA gets real enjoyment from running events that you and your children love, and that’s what’s at the forefront of our minds when we’re planning. PTA members have been involved in the Macmillan Coffee Morning and run discos for both Infants and Junior children, colouring competitions, designing Christmas cards and of course our amazing Christmas and Summer fairs!

If you would like to help in any way or would like further information about the PTA, you are welcome to contact us via email or leave a message at the school office.
